Erzia International Art Foundation will open a new information and cultural cluster in Moscow dedicated to the outstanding sculptor Stepan Erzia. The place will be called “Erzia-Center” and will be located in a building at st. Avtozavodskaya, 1.
The permanent collection of the foundation will be located in this center. This is a unique collection of casts of Stepan Erzya’s works from inaccessible museum and private collections from Russia, Europe and South America. It is planned to organize musical and theatrical evenings, meetings with interesting people, discussions about art there. The opening of Erzia Center will be dedicated to the 145th anniversary of Stepan Erzya birth.
The work with the building began in 2020. They demolished the beams, removed the ceiling and the floor. The building is being renovated now. Then a design project and a cultural program will be developed.
